Everything we know about Borderlands 4

For the first time, the Borderlands saga takes us to Kairos, a planet under the rule of the ruthless dictator known as the Timekeeper. This broadcast-loving tyrant enforces oppressive order, keeping the population irmly under his control.  But nothing stays orderly on a Borderlands planet for long. A mysterious, world-altering catastrophe causes massive chaos across Kairos, sparking rebellion and mayhem (naturally). It’s up to you, one of four new Vault Hunters, to dismantle the Timekeeper’s iron grip and ignite a full-blown resistance.  Expect the trademark Borderlands dark humor, a memorable cast of characters mixed with high-octane action.

Four new Vault Hunters

Each Vault Hunter comes with unique skills and customizable skill trees. Whether you prefer precise sniping, explosive heavy artillery, or up-close melee combat, there’s a playstyle for you.  Unfortunately, no details about the new playable characters have been revealed yet, so we’ll need to wait patiently for further updates.

Infinitely varied loot

Loot is the heartbeat of Borderlands, and the fourth game doubles down. With billions of weapon combinations—including sniper rifles that freeze enemies or shotguns that spawn minions-the weapons continue to be as wild as they are deadly.

Borderlands 4 co-op and singleplayer

You’ll be able to team up with friends in online or split-screen cooperative play, blasting through Kairos together and sharing the loot.  This new chapter in Borderlands will feel familiar to fans of the series while introducing enough gameplay mechanics to keep things fresh and exciting.
